October 2025 Newsletter 21 to 81

Loretta, age 81, blind in one eye, ask for prayers of strength.

Due to scheduling, our October outreach was Saturday the 11th.

We responded to the needs of 120 men and women ages 21 to 81.

A few of those we encountered on this day were living in a temporary shelter, the others were sleeping on sidewalks, or wherever they could find a place to lay down. Our outreach team passed out bags, ladies personal care backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, insect repellent, and 120 sausage biscuits. Our clothiers were very busy assisting folks with 526 articles of clothing and 45 pairs of shoes.

WE TAKE SO MUCH FOR GRANTED!

—-Clean clothes, especially underwear, socks, and shoes.

WE CARE!

As far as we know; there are no other street ministries that provide the comprehensive needs we do. We don’t throw a bag of clothes on a table for them to dig through. Our homeless friends can pick from a selection of clean, and neatly folded clothing. We are committed to giving personalized and caring service to those we meet, just like we were giving to Jesus himself.

We offer bags of food, water, personal care, safety items, socks, and a New Testament to everyone we encounter. Every female receives a backpack with personal care items just for women. We offer new underwear to everyone, and have a supply of sleeping bags, tents, and blankets available to those in need.

WINTER’S COMING!

The majority of homeless people have no clothing suitable for cold weather.

Our next outreach will be Saturday November 29th. (average temps 44 to 63 degrees)

In addition to normal items our vehicles will be loaded with hoodies, jackets, gloves, warm hats, and blankets for everyone. Our clothiers will have a good supply of warm pants, shirts, underwear, and extra socks. Sleeping bags, tents, and shoes will be available as long as our supplies last.

Our December outreach will be on the 28th. (average temps 38 to 57)

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We desperately need shoes suitable for outdoor wear, especially larger sizes.

These items will warm their bodies and their soul: jackets, hoodies, coats, sweaters, sweat pants and shirts, blue jeans, gloves, and warm hats

Financial donations will help us purchase much needed items.

Deuteronomy 15:11: “There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.”

Homeless for less than a week, this gentleman has been sleeping on the ground. We furnished a sleeping bag, tent, along with a bag of food, water, personal care, and safety items.

This women was grateful to receive a bag, clothing, and a blanket.

Helping many needy people.

Please pray for these homeless men and women;
