July 2025 Trevor
35 year old Trevor has been homeless for several months.
We found Trevor living on a sidewalk in downtown Dallas. He gobbled down the hamburgers and other food in the bag. He was very thankful.
Sadly, we were out of pants that fit, but were able to give him shirts, socks, and underwear.
Sunny and Hot!
On this Sunday afternoon we had no problem finding many men and women that needed our help.
Sun, heat, humidity, and insects exacerbates their already difficult life.
Our outreach team greeted more than one hundred needy souls with care and compassion.
Our Saturday volunteers had lovingly assembled and prepared bags, clothing, and more… allowing us to fill five SUVs with bags, burgers, extra water, clothing, and shoes.
Bag count was 97 bags, 29 ladies’ bags, and 5 dog bags.
We were thankful to give out 559 articles of clothing, 45 pairs of men’s & women’s shoes, 101 cans of insect repellent, and 70 microfiber neck wraps.
It was a great day!
Busy, Busy!
Carrying all his earthly possessions.
Cassandra was bare footed. Her day was turned around with a new pair of shoes.
Ladies’ clothing car offers personalized service!
Standing in line for much needed clothing.
A short distance from downtown is like another world.
Insect repellent is a life saver this time of the year.
Lazing on a Sunday afternoon.
Saturday volunteers are a blessing!
Sunday’s outreach team with Pastor David.
Our goal is to greet everyone with a smile and find out how we can better serve them.
We ask their first name, age, prayer concerns, and are now trying to find out how long they have been homeless (in parenthesis).
Out of all of the more than one hundred people we met on this day, we may have previously met two or three of them.

We especially need gently worn shoes suitable for outdoors in all sizes. Belts, bras, shorts, and caps are also in short supply.
We always need men’s and ladies’ pants and shirts.
We will gladly accept coats, sweaters, hoodies, gloves, hats, sleeping bags, and blankets in advance of cold weather.
Your continued financial support will help us continue this ministry.
Thanks to all of our volunteers and supporters!
