June 2025 Sharing God’s love one bag at a time & Be The Neighbor

Sharing God’s love of compassion by providing, food, water, personal care items, clothing, blanket, cool neck wrap, insect repellent, and new shoes for this needy lady.

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” Mother Teresa

June 29th. It’s hot! 10 day forecast is calling for actual temps as high as 103!

Our homeless friends were looking for shade today! Cold neck wraps for everyone along with 600 bottles of water were much appreciated on this hot Sunday afternoon.

100 Bags, 120 hamburgers, 27 ladies’ Bags, 3 tents, 14 sleeping bags, and 89 cans of insect repellent were well received.

Our clothiers helped by supplying 509 articles of clean, fresh clothing including men’s and ladies’ underwear, bras, pants, shorts, T-shirts, socks, and ball caps.

SHOES! TWO OF OUR LADIES TODAY HAD NO SHOES, ANOTHER LADY HAD ONLY SOCKS!! 35 pair of donated shoes blessed 35 needy people on this day.

Enjoying a cup of fruit!

Prayer time.

New pair of shoes.

Ladies’ clothing car open for business.

We met Angel-24 walking across this street barefooted and had no shoes! We had just the right size!

New shoes and more for this gentleman.

Cold Micro fiber neck wraps can be a life saver in this heat.

BE THE NEIGHBOR

We were blessed with the opportunity to share Bob’s Bags ministry with two groups from Be The Neighbor. Check them out at betheneighbor.org

Be The Neighbor is a justice-based service-learning trip ministry that equips people to live lives of love, service, and justice. They visualize a world where through love of neighbor justice is realized, people flourish, and communities are made whole.

Both groups were energetic, fun, and eager to help. We shared about the plight of our homeless brothers and sisters. They helped us by assembling and filling bags and more. It was a great time!

We especially need gently worn shoes suitable for outdoor in all sizes. Belts, bras, shorts, and caps are also in short supply.

We always need men’s and ladies’ pants and shirts.

We will gladly accept coats, sweaters, hoodies, gloves, hats, sleeping bags, and blankets in advance of cold weather.

Your continued financial support will help us continue this ministry.

Thanks to all of our volunteers and supporters!
