May 2025 Giving a Helping Hand.
Our homeless brothers and sisters are transitioning into warm weather mode. Their thoughts now are surviving the brutal heat that’s just around the corner. Last Saturday our team spent four hours assisting folks and got a taste of what is only to get worse. There was high humidity, bright sunlight, and a temperature of only 88 degrees. We were exhausted, but blessed, to find and share with more than 100 folks that were desperate for help. They were kind and appreciated our help.
The 100 Bags, 120 hamburgers, 36 ladies’ Bags, 3 dog Bags, 4 tents, 12 sleeping bags, and 63 cans of insect repellent were well received.
Our clothiers helped by supplying 448 items of clean, fresh clothing including men’s and ladies’ underwear, bras, pants, shorts, T-shirts, socks, Depends, ball caps, and 31 pairs of shoes.
It’s always our desire to search out new locations and connect with those that are underserved and most needy.

We accept all shirts, tops, pants, coats, jackets, sweaters, capris, warm up suits, hoodies, blankets, tents, and sleeping bags.

Our May volunteers contributed more than 150 hours by helping sort, wash, size, and shelve hundreds of clothing items. Two groups helped fill bags, and another group went on this month’s outreach in 5 vehicles. Thank God for our volunteers and prayer partners.
