Final Words
Community of Hope Methodist Church, Mansfield, Tx. Spero Youth Group
We were blessed to host the Spero youth group as part of their July 2026 Mission Retreat.
Carly led this wonderful group with Ruth, Ty, Janice, Chris, Baylee, Janette, Miles, and Jordan. They were amazing!
Saturday
The Group spent four hours with us learning about the plight of the homeless, and our protocol. They assembled bags, ladies’ backpacks, and helped gather all the necessary items for Sunday’s outreach. We closed out that day with a blessing of the bag’s prayer.

The Group arrived early to help load sleeping bags, tents, insect repellent, microfiber neck wraps, ball caps, clothing, and shoes. After morning worship service, we loaded bags, cold water, and gave everyone their vehicle and job assignment. Pastor Cartwright sent us off with a prayer and we headed out.

BE THE NEIGHBOR
For the second year in a row, we hosted a group of 27 youth and their sponsors from Be The Neighbor. They listened intently to our message about our homeless brothers and sisters and assembled fifty Bob’s Bags. We were blessed to have this wonderful group visit us.

We are thankful for the opportunity to share this ministry with our friends from “Be The Neighbor”..
ONE VEHICLE LOAD
Our outreach team normally goes out with five loaded vehicles. That said, it’s hard for us to stop and help small groups of homeless folks. Yesterday two of us loaded one vehicle with supplies and cold water in search of those most needy individuals.
We helped 21 men and women with bags, tents, sleeping bags, underwear, t-shirts, shoes, insect repellent, hamburgers, and cold water.
Please pray for these trying to survive in the heat
